It's not time to calm down. It's time to wake the f**k up.
The spiritual path is not about being passive. We need you. Awake.
New Age spirituality says: The only problem is that you’re too stressed out. Just calm down, breathe, meditate, and you’ll see everything is fine.
But let’s be real. Everything is not fine.
The world is literally burning. Climate collapse. Rising authoritarianism. The ongoing genocide in Gaza. Suicide, addiction, and loneliness tearing through our communities. And closer to home? Maybe your relationships are on fire. Maybe your body is on fire with stress.
Maybe your own heart feels like it’s burning down.
Or you’re stuck. Your dreams aren’t “coming true”, and you don’t seem to be able to get off of Neflix long enough to make them happen.
The New Age says; just calm down, just accept yourself, it’s all good.
No. It’s not all good.
Don’t calm down.
Wake the fuck up.
Your house is on fire.
Also, yes calm down.
Actually — calming down does have its place. Our nervous systems are fried, and we need tools to regulate. But the deeper truth of yoga, tantra, bhakti — the whole stream of authentic spiritual practice that we’re teaching over here — is not just to calm you down. It’s to wake you up.
Wake up to your state of affairs.
Wake up to what’s really happening in your relationships.
Wake up to the reality of a world that desperately needs our courage, our clarity, and our service.
Wake up. And then be better.
We’re calling in the crazy MFs who get this and are ready to step up and help all the other crazy MFs who are getting ready to step up.
Be Better
When I say “wake up and be better,” I don’t mean it in some shaming, moralistic way. “Better” isn’t just a vibe or some influencer’s hot take. It’s codified in our oldest wisdom traditions like the Bhagavad Gītā: generosity, fearlessness, humility, self-restraint, compassion.
It’s not about being “good.” It’s about being aligned and strong. It’s about evolving.
It’s about being awake.
The Call
So please — don’t just use your practice to calm down. Use it to wake the f*** up.
Wake up to the grief of the world. Wake up to the fire in your own heart. Wake up to the call of your soul to become more than you’ve been.
The stakes are too high for us to sleepwalk in the glow of incense and breathwork and playlists.
This is the moment to be awake, alive, and burning with the kind of love that transforms.
The Training
Like I said, we are calling in the Motherfuckers. The people who get that AT THIS POINT - 2025 - IGNORANCE IS NOT AN OPTION ANYMORE.
We know too much. This isn’t the Obama era when spiritual work was a luxury. This is 2025 when our spiritual work and the work we are able to support others in is CRITICAL.
We’re calling in the Motherfuckers who are ready to help support the other Motherfuckers out there. We need to prepare ourselves and help our communities prepare to face the times to come. W
e need a STRONG spirituality that can help us stay awake and buoyant enough to serve others through these gnarly times.
This isn’t a “teacher training”. This is our Advanced Training. It’s nine months of practice, teachings, support and STRENGTH TRAINING for the heart.
We will study the Bhagavad Gītā together and learn about the tradition of BHAKTI YOGA - not just chanting and dancing. The real bhakti yoga - the long term, service oriented, deeply mystical and super practical path for the people.
Are you that motherfucker? We start next month. If you’re feeling it, apply. We’ll have a conversation and see if it’s the thing for you or not.
*PS: Sorry for the mf-bombs. I’m not trying to be profane or shocking. This is the language that has evolved in the conversations I’m having with the people who are showing up for the training. When I use the term motherfucker - I mean it with the UTMOST love and respect. It’s shorthand for the crazy, committed, devoted, aligned motherfuckers who prioritize their growth and healing and service serving the growth and healing of others.
